Product Description
Zero VOC Emissions and Water-Based Base: The water-based plastic replacement coating uses water as its solvent, resulting in near-zero volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions during both production and use. It complies with the EU’s RoHS and REACH standards as well as the U.S. ASTM F963 heavy-metal content regulations, completely addressing the air pollution and occupational health risks caused by the volatilization of organic solvents in traditional oil-based lamination processes. Biodegradability and Recyclability: Its core components—such as waterborne polyurethanes and bio-based polymers—are biodegradable in natural environments. Waste packaging can be directly sent to paper recycling processes without the need for separation, realizing a circular economy model with "zero plastic residue." Take Dongguan Anxin Technology’s “water-based polymer surface micro-film varnishing process” as an example: this technology employs a micron-scale mesh bonding structure that enables the film layer to achieve molecular-level encapsulation of paper fibers. This approach not only preserves the physical performance of the coating but also resolves the critical issue of plastic films hindering paper recycling. Low Carbon Footprint: Carbon emissions during the production process are reduced by more than 60% compared to conventional BOPP lamination processes, aligning with the global trend toward "de-plasticizing and reducing carbon emissions." For instance, after adopting this technology, a certain cosmetics packaging company reduced its annual plastic usage by 120 tons and cut its carbon emissions by approximately 380 tons.
